This article answers which NinjaTrader 8 versions Replikanto works with, what you need to run it, and how it connects to your broker accounts.
NinjaTrader version compatibility
Starting with Replikanto 1.7.0.0, one Replikanto build runs on every NinjaTrader 8 version. There is no longer a separate download for each range of NinjaTrader versions: download the latest Replikanto from the FlowBots downloads page and install it, whatever NinjaTrader 8 version you run. Updating NinjaTrader later does not require reinstalling Replikanto — see Do I need to reinstall Replikanto when updating NinjaTrader?
We recommend keeping NinjaTrader 8 up to date. If you run a very old NinjaTrader 8 version and Replikanto does not load, contact FlowBots support.
Replikanto 1.6.1.7 or earlier
Older Replikanto versions were published as separate builds for different NinjaTrader version ranges. Installing one of those builds outside its range, or updating NinjaTrader beyond it, causes the "Replikanto Version Mismatch Detected" error, or Replikanto not loading at all. The fix is to install Replikanto 1.7.0.0 or later. See Replikanto stops loading after a NinjaTrader upgrade (version mismatch) for the full fix, including a known OneDrive sync conflict that can silently restore the old build after you reinstall.
System requirements
- Replikanto requires a Windows PC with NinjaTrader 8 installed.
- On a Mac, you'll need a virtual machine running Windows to use NinjaTrader and Replikanto.
Connecting broker accounts
Replikanto does not connect directly to any broker — it works through accounts that are already connected to NinjaTrader. If an account can be connected to NinjaTrader, Replikanto can work with it.
To connect more than one broker account to the same NinjaTrader instance at the same time, you may need to enable NinjaTrader's Multi-Provider setting. See What is the NinjaTrader Multi-Provider setting? for how to enable it and how it differs from the paid Multiple Broker Add-on.
