This article answers which Replikanto .zip file to download for your NinjaTrader version. Short answer: starting with Replikanto 1.7.0.0 there is one Replikanto .zip file for every NinjaTrader 8 version. You no longer choose the download by NinjaTrader version, and updating NinjaTrader does not require reinstalling Replikanto.
One download for every NinjaTrader 8 version
Starting with Replikanto 1.7.0.0, the follower and remote-node grids were rebuilt in house, with no third-party grid library (Infragistics). That library ships with NinjaTrader and changes between NinjaTrader releases, which is what forced older Replikanto versions to publish a separate build for each range of NinjaTrader versions. Without it, a single Replikanto build runs on every NinjaTrader 8 version, and a NinjaTrader update no longer breaks your copy of Replikanto or sends you looking for a different build to reinstall.
Each Replikanto release is now published as two packages:
- Replikanto: the regular package, for every NinjaTrader 8 version.
- Replikanto Compliance Mode: only if you use Replikanto Compliance Mode. It is also a single package for every NinjaTrader 8 version.
Download and install
- Open the FlowBots downloads page.
- Download the latest Replikanto .zip file. There is no need to unzip it, and no need to check your NinjaTrader version first.
- Install it following the steps in How do I install a FlowBots product/add-on? The same .zip file is used both to install Replikanto for the first time and to update it.
If you are on Replikanto 1.6.1.7 or earlier, moving to 1.7.0.0 is a one-time manual import of the new .zip file through Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On..., followed by a NinjaTrader restart.
Column layouts reset once after updating to 1.7.0.0
The first time you open Replikanto 1.7.0.0, the follower and remote-node grids start with the default column layout: saved column widths, order, visibility and sort order reset once. Your followers, their settings and the rest of the workspace are kept. Arrange the columns the way you like and save the workspace; from then on your layout is saved as usual.
After you update NinjaTrader
With Replikanto 1.7.0.0 or later, no reinstall is needed when you update NinjaTrader 8. The Replikanto you have installed keeps working.
Replikanto 1.6.1.7 or earlier
Replikanto 1.6.1.7 and earlier versions still depend on the NinjaTrader version. They were published as separate builds, each for a range of NinjaTrader versions:

If one of these older versions stops loading after a NinjaTrader update (for example, NinjaTrader shows "Replikanto Version Mismatch Detected", or Replikanto no longer appears in the Control Center), the fix is to install Replikanto 1.7.0.0 or later, which does not have this limitation. Other FlowBots products
The single build applies to Replikanto 1.7.0.0 and later. Other FlowBots products may still publish more than one .zip file. For those, check your NinjaTrader version in the Control Center under Help > About (for example 8.1.7.1), then download the .zip whose NinjaTrader Version column on the downloads page includes your version.
