The Flatten All button will only work for the tool that is selected in the Replikanto window and for the leader and follower accounts that are active. There are some situations in which it won't work:
- There is no open position being reported by Ninjatrader. It may be that there is an open position being displayed in Rithmic or Tradovate but if this position has not been updated in NinjaTrader then this button will not work.
- If the button is pressed in a Replikanto window other than the one in which you would like the positions closed. It is common when heating to go to the wrong Replikanto window or tab for the instrument that is not the one you would like to have the positions closed.
- When there is a communication failure between NinjaTrader and the broker causing the close request not to be sent. In this case it is necessary to disconnect and reconnect the broker connection in NinjaTrader and try again.
You can also request the closing of positions directly from NinjaTrader in the Positions tab:
Right mouse clicking within the positions grid section opens the following menu:
and select the Flatten Everything (Flattens all open positions and cancels all working orders)
