Symptom
After a NinjaTrader 8 upgrade, Replikanto no longer loads or is not recognized by NinjaTrader. You may see a pop-up saying the add-on cannot be found, or Replikanto simply does not appear in the Control Center.
Cause
Each Replikanto release targets a specific range of NinjaTrader 8 builds. When NinjaTrader updates to a new build, the installed Replikanto version may fall outside the supported range, causing NinjaTrader to refuse to load it.
Fix
Step 1 — Check your NinjaTrader version
- In the NinjaTrader Control Center, go to Help > About.
- Note the exact version number (for example: 8.1.7.1).
Step 2 — Download the matching Replikanto build
- Go to your FlowBots downloads page: https://flowbots.ninja/my-profile/downloads/
- Under Replikanto, find the download that matches your NinjaTrader version range. Each download is labeled with its compatibility range, for example:
- NT >= 8.1.7.0
- NT >= 8.1.6.0 and <= 8.1.6.3
- NT <= 8.1.5.2
- Download the zip file for the range that includes your NT version.
Step 3 — Install the correct build
- In NinjaTrader, go to Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On…
- Select the zip file you just downloaded.
- Allow NinjaTrader to overwrite the existing installation.
- Restart NinjaTrader when prompted.
If the problem persists — OneDrive conflict
If your Documents folder is synced with Microsoft OneDrive, OneDrive can silently restore the old Replikanto DLLs after the import, reverting your installation.
- Pause OneDrive sync, or exclude the NinjaTrader 8 folder from sync.
- Repeat Step 3 above.
- Restart NinjaTrader.
