Unhandled exception: Could not load file or assembly 'InfragisticsWPF.DataPresenter'

Common Error Messages

Customers experiencing this issue may see any of these error messages:

• "Replikanto Version Mismatch Detected" - The Replikanto build currently installed is not compatible with your NinjaTrader version
• "Could not load file or assembly 'InfragisticsWPF4.DataPresenter'" or "InfragisticsWPF.DataPresenter"
• "Version mismatch" or "Build compatibility error" when installing or launching Replikanto
• Unable to retrieve type info for 'NinjaTrader.Data.Barstype' from assembly 'Replikanto': Unable to load one or more of the requested types. Retrieve the LoaderExceptions property for more information.

All of these errors indicate the same root cause: the Replikanto build doesn't match your NinjaTrader version. Follow the steps below to resolve it.

Initial Steps

This error occurs when you use a version of the product (add-on) that is not compatible with the version of NinjaTrader running on your machine. In other words, if you install a version of one of our products designed to run on NinjaTrader version 8.1.6 or higher on an outdated version of NinjaTrader, the following error may appear:

Unhandled exception: Could not load file or assembly 'InfragisticsWPF4.DataPresenter'

There are currently two releases of our products prepared for:

• Running on NinjaTrader version greater than or equal to 8.1.7.0 or >= 8.1.7.0.
• Running on NinjaTrader version between 8.1.6.0 and 8.1.6.3 or >= 8.1.6.0 and <= 8.1.6.3.
• Running on NinjaTrader version less than or equal to 8.1.5.2 or <= 8.1.5.2.

Before downloading and installing, you must:

• Check your NinjaTrader version, which can be found in the Help > About menu located in the NinjaTrader Control Center window.
• Choose one of the options presented according to the NinjaTrader version you want to use. The NinjaTrader Version column shows the version in which the product is enabled.

After downloading the installation file in .zip format according to the current version of NinjaTrader, the installation can be performed, even if you have installed an incompatible version. This will update the file to the correct version and the product can be used.

Follow the steps described in the post to proceed with the installation of the correct version to be used.

Extra Steps

If the same error "Unhandled exception: Unable to load the file or assembly 'InfragisticsWPF.DataPresenter'" continues to appear, you may be using Microsoft OneDrive, which is preventing the product from updating because OneDrive may be bringing the old version that is in the cloud to the machine, preventing the product from being updated. After Reinstalling: 3rd Party Licensing Form

After installing the correct Replikanto build and restarting NinjaTrader, you may see a 3rd Party Licensing dialog with empty Vendor name and User defined ID fields. This is expected after a fresh install or reinstall — Replikanto's license needs to be re-activated on the new build.

If this happens, copy the Machine ID shown at the bottom of that form and contact FlowBots support. The support team will reactivate your license using your Machine ID.
