Remote Copy/Remote Trade cost: license and Remote credits

Using Remote Copy (Remote Trade) has two separate cost components: a Replikanto license on every machine involved, and Remote credits on the leader machine only. There is no separate plan or subscription tier to unlock the feature — it is part of Replikanto, and the credits are what pay for the transmissions.

What you need to buy

  1. A valid Replikanto license for every instance — leader and followers alike must have an active license. Each machine needs NinjaTrader 8 and Replikanto installed, and each account must be connected in NinjaTrader Desktop.
  2. Remote credits for the leader (sender) only — follower machines do not need credits to receive trades.

The license price depends on the license type, the number of machines it covers, and any promotion running at the time you buy. Credit packages get cheaper per credit the more credits you buy, so the package list on the Remote Credit page is where the exact cost per trade is decided.

How credits are consumed

For each submitted order, 1 credit is debited, multiplied by the number of Remote Replikanto nodes receiving it. Credits are charged only when an order reaches the Submitted state and is transmitted over the internet.

  • 1 order sent to 1 follower = 1 credit
  • 1 order sent to 2 followers = 2 credits
  • 1 trade with 2 OCO exit orders (Take Profit and Stop Loss) sent to 3 followers = 9 credits
  • 1 trade with Take Profit and Stop Loss sent to 7 followers = 21 credits

A credit package is a balance of order transmissions, not a follower allowance: there is no limit on how many remote follower nodes a leader can send to, but the more followers receive each order, the faster the same package is consumed.

What does not consume credits

  • Trailing stop steps — only the initial Submitted state is charged
  • Order modifications, price changes and quantity changes
  • Order cancellations
  • The Working and Filled states, unless the order was originally submitted with those states
  • Receiving trades as a follower — only the sender needs credits
  • Sending trades over a local network — that method is free and the fastest

Avoiding credits entirely: local network copy

If the machines are on the same local network, local copy is free and faster than remote copy. This also applies when the machines are joined through a VPN from the same provider, which puts them on a shared local network — in that case no credits are required.

Trying it before you spend

  • All users receive 20 initial credits to test Remote Mode before purchasing.
  • A 7-day trial period is available to evaluate Replikanto.
  • Test with Sim accounts before moving to real accounts.

Buying and checking credits

  • Credits are tied to a Replikanto Remote ID (@REP-XXXX-XXXX), so when purchasing you must supply the Remote ID of the installation the credits should be assigned to. You can find it in the Properties panel.
  • To see your balance, right-click on the left side of the Replikanto window and select Refresh Credits.
  • Credits can be transferred only between Replikanto IDs (Machine IDs) that belong to the same purchaser; they cannot be transferred to another person. Credits do not expire.
