Yes — Replikanto can copy any accounts connected in NinjaTrader Desktop, including your Apex accounts. This article covers how the connection works, when to use Replikanto Compliance Mode, and what to check with Apex before you start copying.
Connecting your Apex accounts
Replikanto doesn't connect to Apex directly. Instead:
- Connect your Apex broker account to NinjaTrader Desktop the same way you'd connect any other supported broker connection.
- Once the account appears as a connected account inside NinjaTrader, open Replikanto (it runs as an add-on inside NinjaTrader) and add the Apex account as a lead or follower account.
- If you're running Apex accounts alongside accounts on a different connection provider, you'll need NinjaTrader's What is the NinjaTrader Multi-Provider setting? enabled so both connections can run at once.
Using Replikanto Compliance Mode
Prop firms watch for software features — like remote/network trade copying or stealth modes — that could be used to hide rule violations. Replikanto Compliance Mode for prop firms is a version of Replikanto built with prop firms to remove those flagged features, while keeping local, same-machine copying between your own accounts intact.
- Compliance Mode is free for existing Replikanto customers and installs alongside the standard version — you don't need to choose only one.
- As of this writing, TPT and ETF are the only prop firms listed as having explicitly approved Compliance Mode. Apex is not on that list, so if you plan to rely on Compliance Mode specifically, confirm approval directly with Apex's compliance or risk team rather than assuming it applies.
Before you use Replikanto with Apex
Compliance requirements can change, so verify your plan is covered before you start copying:
- Review their terms of service – Confirm that trade copying is permitted.
- Understand their policies – Know which copying methods are approved.
- Verify approval – Confirm whether Replikanto (standard or Compliance Mode) is specifically approved.
- Contact compliance – If uncertain, reach out to Apex's compliance or risk team.
Violation consequences: Misuse of trade copiers or violation of prop firm policies can result in account reset, profit forfeiture, account suspension, permanent closure, and legal action. FlowBots is not responsible for violations of individual prop firm policies.
