Credits are what let one Replikanto send trades to another Replikanto anywhere in the world through our servers and the internet, so the trade reaches its destination as fast as possible. Only the sender (the leader Replikanto) needs credits — machines that receive trades do not. You can read more about remote copying in How do I copy trades between machines over the Internet?.
How much each trade costs in credits
For each order submitted, 1 credit is debited, multiplied by the number of Remote Replikanto receiving it:
- 1 order sent to 1 follower = 1 credit
- 1 order sent to 2 followers = 2 credits
- 1 trade with 2 OCO exit orders (Take Profit and Stop Loss) sent to 3 followers = 9 credits
So a 100-credit package can cover 100 orders to a single follower, 50 orders to two followers, or considerably fewer trades if each one carries Take Profit and Stop Loss orders. Your credit balance limits how many order submissions you can make — it does not limit how many followers you may have. See Does a 100-submit package mean copying to 100 users?.
What does not consume credits
- Price changes, quantity changes and other order modifications
- Order cancellations
- Trailing stop steps — only the initial Submitted state is charged
- The Working and Filled order states, unless the order was originally submitted with those states
- Receiving trades — only the sender needs credits
- Sending trades over a local network — that method is free and the fastest one
Only the Submitted order state triggers credit consumption. The full rules are in Are credits charged per order or per trailing stop step?.
What a credit costs
The price depends on the credit package you buy — the larger the package, the cheaper each credit becomes. Current prices are on the product page: Replikanto Remote Credit.
Every user receives 20 initial credits to test Remote Mode before buying, and credits do not expire — they stay in your account until you use them (Do Replikanto credits have an expiration date?).
Viewing your credit balance
To see how many credits you have available, right-click on the left side of the Replikanto window and select Refresh Credits.
Buying credits for a specific installation
Credits are tied to a Replikanto Remote ID (@REP-XXXX-XXXX), which you can find in the Properties panel. When purchasing, provide the Remote ID of the installation where you want the credits assigned, so they land on the correct Replikanto.
