Can I set a ratio for Cross Order in Replikanto?

Setting Up Ratio Copy

To use ratio-based order scaling, select Ratio in the Method dropdown in the left panel of the Replikanto tab.

In the left panel of the Replikanto tab: 1 = the Method dropdown, 2 = Ratio. The method applies to every follower on that tab.

Understanding Ratio Values

You can define a ratio ranging from -100 to 100 for each follower account. This ratio acts as a multiplier for the leader's order quantity.

With the Ratio method, the Follower Accounts grid gets a Ratio column with one value per follower: Sim102 = 2.00, Sim103 = 0.50, Sim104 = -1.00, the examples below.

Positive Ratio Examples

• Ratio of 2.0: If the leader transmits an order for 2 contracts, the follower receives 4 contracts.
• Ratio of 5.0: If the leader transmits an order for 1 contract, the follower receives 5 contracts.

Ratios Below 1

Ratio values can be smaller than 1. The follower's quantity is the leader's quantity × the ratio, rounded down: with a ratio of 0.5, 3 contracts on the leader copy as 1 on the follower, and 1 contract rounds down to 0, so that trade is not copied.

Using Negative Ratios

A negative ratio reverses the order direction, converting long positions to short and vice versa.

• Example: A ratio of -1 means the follower account will hedge the leader's positions 1:1.
• Use this when you want the follower to take opposite positions to the leader.

Cross-Order Trading

Replikanto supports cross-order trading between related futures instruments — Mini and Micro, and, as of Replikanto 1.7.0.0, a third nano tier on the families where one is available. When using cross-order functionality, the contract count remains unchanged—for example, 1 contract on the leader (Mini) becomes 1 contract on the follower (Micro).

Cross Order changes the instrument, not the quantity. To scale the follower's size as well, combine it with the Ratio Copy Method described above. See Cross Order Now Has Three Instrument Tiers (1.7.0.0) for how the Cross Order square cycles between tiers.

1 = Ratio sets the quantity, 2 = Cross Order sets the instrument. When the leader buys 1 ES, Sim102 buys 2 MES, Sim103 buys 1 NES and Sim104 (Cross Order off) buys 1 ES.
