How do I test if Replikanto is copying trades?

Testing Procedure

1. Place a test order: Send a limit order at a distance from the current market bid/ask price so that it will not be filled on any account.
2. Check the Orders tab: Open the NinjaTrader Control Center Orders tab and verify that the same order appears on each follower account. Followers that are turned off, or that have Market Only on, show no order: Market Only followers receive only the leader's fills, as market orders.
3. Verify the quantities: Confirm that the order sizes on the follower accounts match the expected amounts.
4. Cancel the test order: Cancel your test order on the leader account.
5. Verify cancellation: Check the Orders tab once more to ensure all orders have been cancelled on all accounts.

1 = the leader account (Sim101) in Chart Trader; 2 = the test Buy Limit at 6490.00, well below the market (6512.25), so it does not fill; 3 = Replikanto's Orders column shows the copied entry on each follower that is turned on: E:1 on Sim102 (ratio 1) and E:2 on Sim103 (ratio 2). Sim104 is turned off, so it gets no order.

What to Check

While reviewing the Orders tab, verify the following:

• One order per follower: Each follower account should show exactly one order. If you see two or more orders for the same follower, it indicates another Replikanto window or tab is copying trades to that account.
• Correct quantities: The order size on each follower should match your expected copy ratio settings.
• Order parameters: The instrument, direction (buy/sell), and order type should match across leader and followers.

Control Center > Orders: 1 = one order per account (Sim101 is the leader, Sim102 and Sim103 are the followers); 2 = the quantity follows each follower's ratio (1 and 2); 3 = same instrument, direction and order type as the leader's order.

Checking for duplicate windows: Ensure there isn't another Replikanto window or tab open on the same instrument on both the leader and follower computers. Minimized windows can be found in the Windows taskbar or system tray by hovering the mouse over the NinjaTrader icon. Also check if another workspace is open with Replikanto running. If duplicate windows are present, close them and retry the test.

Troubleshooting

If orders do not appear on follower accounts:

• Verify that Replikanto is running on both leader and follower computers
• Check that the follower accounts are connected to the market data feed
• Confirm that the instrument is subscribed and receiving data on all accounts
• Review your Replikanto configuration to ensure the follower accounts are properly linked
