Can I connect two Rithmic connections at the same time?

Replikanto works with all the accounts connected to NinjaTrader, so account setup for copying starts with NinjaTrader, not Replikanto itself. This article explains why NinjaTrader can only hold one Rithmic broker connection at a time, and how to work around that limit when you need to copy trades across multiple Prop Firm accounts.

Why only one Rithmic connection per machine

It is not possible to connect two or more Rithmic broker connections to NinjaTrader at the same time. This is a restriction of the Rithmic API itself, which allows only one connection per machine — not a Replikanto or NinjaTrader limitation.

• The restriction applies at the broker connection level, not the individual account level.
• A single Rithmic broker connection can hold up to 20 accounts under it.
• All accounts under that connection appear in Replikanto automatically once NinjaTrader is connected — no extra setup is needed on the Replikanto side.

Connecting accounts from multiple Prop Firms

A common question is how to connect accounts from Prop Firm A, B, or C to Replikanto. The accounts themselves connect to NinjaTrader, not directly to Replikanto — once they're connected there, Replikanto displays all of them automatically.

To connect more than one broker (besides Rithmic) to the same NinjaTrader instance, you may need to turn on NinjaTrader's Multi-Provider Mode. Instructions for enabling it are in the NinjaTrader documentation.

If you would rather keep everything in a single NinjaTrader instance, a third-party add-on called PropFirmConnector adds an independent connection path for Rithmic accounts and lets several Rithmic logins — from the same or from different Prop Firms — run side by side in one NinjaTrader 8 instance. Once those accounts are connected, Replikanto sees them like any other NinjaTrader account and can copy between them. It is a paid product from an independent developer, not affiliated with FlowBots, and it is not required to use Replikanto — always check your Prop Firm's rules on copy trading before using it.

Workaround: copying trades between machines

If you need more than one Rithmic connection active at once, run each connection on its own machine and use Replikanto's remote copy feature to submit trades from one machine to another.

Routes trades through servers located around the world, so it requires credits to function.

Using Replikanto alongside other trade copiers

You can have both Replikanto and another third-party trade copier (such as Copy Trader) installed on the same NinjaTrader instance. However, run only one copier at a time — using two simultaneously can cause conflicts or duplicate orders. If you need to switch, disable Replikanto before enabling the other copier, and vice versa.
