What are Remote Mode credits?
Remote Mode credits enable Replikanto to copy trades between machines over the internet using cloud serverless technology. This provides scalable, reliable communication without server failures or capacity concerns.
Credits are required only for the leader Replikanto machine when sending trades over the internet. Follower machines do not need credits to receive trades.
When credits are needed
You need Remote Mode credits when:
- Copying trades between Replikanto instances running on different computers over the internet
- Using the Remote Mode feature to send trades from your leader machine to one or more followers
When credits are NOT needed
You do not need credits when:
- Using a local network to send trades between machines — this is free and the fastest method
- Receiving trades as a follower — only the sender (leader) needs credits
- Sending trades on the same machine
How credit consumption works
Credits are charged only when orders are transmitted over the internet with a "Submitted" order state. This means:
- Submitted orders consume credits
- Working, Filled, and other order states do not consume credits (unless submitted with those states)
- Order modifications and cancellations do not consume credits
Credits are personal and non-transferable
Each user's credits are tied to their individual account and cannot be shared or transferred to other accounts. All users receive 20 initial credits for testing Remote Mode before purchasing.

Summary
In summary: Remote Mode credits are required for the leader Replikanto when sending trades via the internet, but not for follower Replikanto machines receiving those trades. Local network trading remains free.
