How do I save my current Replikanto settings?

To save your current Replikanto settings, you need to save the NinjaTrader workspace. Replikanto will save its entire current configuration when the workspace is saved, so the next time you open NinjaTrader, Replikanto will load exactly as it was last saved.

Steps to Save Your Workspace

Follow these steps to save your NinjaTrader workspace, which will also preserve your Replikanto settings:

1. From the NinjaTrader Control Center, select the menu "Workspaces".
2. Move your mouse over the name of the workspace you want to save.
3. Select "save".
4. Any changes made to the currently displayed workspace will be saved.

Note for Replikanto 1.7.0.0: after you update from an earlier version, the saved column layouts of the Replikanto grids (column widths, order, which columns are shown, and sorting) reset to the default once, the first time the workspace opens. Your followers, ratios and other settings are kept. Arrange the columns again and save the workspace; the new layout is kept from then on.

Divider positions: starting with Replikanto 1.7.0.0, the saved workspace also keeps where you dragged the Replikanto window's dividers: the width of the leader panel and the split between the followers list and the node list. Earlier versions reset them to the default every time the workspace opened. A workspace saved by an earlier version opens with the default positions until you drag them and save the workspace again.

Follower groups: starting with Replikanto 1.7.1.0, the saved workspace also keeps your custom follower groups, which group headers are expanded or collapsed, and the Group followers by connection option of each tab. If you open the workspace in an older version of Replikanto and save it there, the groups and their expanded or collapsed state are dropped (the followers and their settings are kept). To keep your custom groups before going back to an older version, use Export... in the Follower Accounts grid first and Import... after updating again (see Export and import the Replikanto follower list).
