This article explains whether Replikanto can show you your remote followers' Profit and Loss (PnL) or account values, why that information isn't available, what you can see about a remote node, and how leaders keep track of their remote followers instead.
Short answer
No. There is no built-in way to view your remote followers' PnL or account values directly through Replikanto. Replikanto shows the PnL of local accounts only — the accounts connected on your own machine. This also applies to the Followers PnL: total shown above the follower grid starting with Replikanto 1.7.0.0: it adds up only the local follower accounts in the grid, never the accounts behind a remote node.
Why remote follower PnL isn't available
Remote copy trading sends trades from the leader machine to another machine running Replikanto. That link carries the trade outward; it does not bring account information back. As a leader you cannot directly monitor your remote followers' setups, accounts, positions, or open orders, so their account values and PnL aren't visible on your side.
The same one-way nature affects other features. Some Follower Guard actions are not available in remote mode, because remote nodes do not receive position information or active orders from the leader.
What you can see about a remote node
Replikanto does give you a limited signal about the connection itself. After you send a trade, each remote node shows a color indicator in the Replikanto window:
- Red — the trade was not sent to that remote node.
- Green — the trade was sent to the remote client.
A green indicator confirms the trade reached the remote Replikanto client. It does not confirm that the trade was submitted to the follower accounts on that machine, and it says nothing about fill price, position size, or PnL.
How to keep track of remote followers
- Communicate proactively. Because follower nodes can't know the leader's current positions or open orders, and the leader can't see theirs, use instant messaging to share the state of trading activity. We recommend Telegram with your remote Replikanto nodes.
- Ask followers to check their PnL at the broker. Have them confirm the figures on the broker's website or software rather than only in NinjaTrader — there have been cases where NinjaTrader wasn't showing an account's actual PnL.
- Set expectations up front. Replikanto does not guarantee perfect synchronization of positions or orders between leader and remote follower accounts, and large PnL differences can occur.
