Yes, our products support instrument rollover as long as the rollover has been performed in NinjaTrader with our product open. When instrument rollover is performed in NinjaTrader, all open windows containing the Instrument field will also be rollover and this happens in our products on all open tabs.
If the Auto Rollover Notification window keeps appearing every time NinjaTrader starts up, it means one of your instruments is still set to a contract month that has already expired. Checking "Update" and clicking "Done" only rolls the instrument for that session, so if the rollover is not performed in NinjaTrader and saved with your workspace, the old contract loads again on the next startup and the notification comes back.
To stop the notification from reappearing, perform the rollover in NinjaTrader and save it:
- Open the NinjaTrader Control Center and go to Tools > Database Management.
- In the Rollover section, roll your futures instruments over to the current contract. This updates your instrument lists and every open NinjaTrader window, including our products.
- Make sure any chart or window that was still showing the old contract now shows the current contract month.
- Save your workspace so the change persists, then restart NinjaTrader.
Once the instrument is on the active contract, the Auto Rollover Notification will no longer appear at startup.
