To transfer or update a FlowBots product license to a different machine, first install the product on the new machine. Then, change the NinjaTrader signed Machine ID associated with the license.
Here are the steps to follow:
- First, install the FlowBots product in NinjaTrader on the target machine. How do I install a FlowBots NinjaScript (Add-on, Indicator, SuperDom Column or Strategy)?
- To install the product, download the .zip NinjaScript add-on file from the FlowBots website.
- In NinjaTrader, go to Tools > Import NinjaScript Add-On and select the downloaded .zip file.
- Restart NinjaTrader.
- Next, you will need to change the machine ID tied to the product license to match the target machine ID. This can be done on the FlowBots website. How do I change the machine id associated with the product license?
- Go to the FlowBots License Manager page.
- Update the machine ID that is linked to your product license.
- Note that after a change, you must wait 2 hours to change it again.
- Finally, restart NinjaTrader for the product to work on the new machine.
