How can I downgrade a FlowBots product/add-on?

To downgrade a FlowBots product or add-on to a previous version, you'll need to install the .zip file for that version. Follow these steps carefully to ensure a smooth downgrade process. A downgrade is always a manual import: the Replikanto Update now button only offers newer versions.

Before You Begin

• Backup your settings: Replikanto keeps its settings (follower accounts, Ratio, leader account, nodes) in your NinjaTrader workspace. Before downgrading, save the workspace (Control Center > Workspaces > Save Workspace) and save your follower list to a file: right-click the Follower Accounts grid and choose Export... (step by step: Export and import the Replikanto follower list). If you need to set the followers up again after the downgrade, use Import... in the same menu, then check each follower: Replikanto 1.6.x cannot read a Cross Order target instrument (such as MES) saved by 1.7.0.0, and that follower comes back with default settings.
• Close all open positions and orders before downgrading Replikanto from 1.7.0.0 to 1.6.x: Replikanto 1.7.0.0 keeps the links between leader and follower orders in the new Documents\NinjaTrader 8\Replikanto folder, and Replikanto 1.6.x does not read that folder. If orders or positions are still open when you downgrade, the older version may not be able to cancel or change the follower orders that were placed before the downgrade.
• Know your current version: Check which version you currently have installed so you can choose the correct previous version.
• Check compatibility: Verify that the previous version is compatible with your current NinjaTrader version and any other add-ons you use. 3. Select Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On....
4. Navigate to and choose the .zip file of the older version you want to install.
5. You may be prompted with confirmation dialogs. Accept all prompts to complete the import.
6. Restart NinjaTrader to complete the downgrade process. This step is critical for the new assembly to load properly.

Important Notes

• Assembly cleanup: After removing a NinjaScript assembly, always restart NinjaTrader before importing a different version. Importing without restarting can cause conflicts and errors.
