How to Use Replikanto in Portuguese

Short answer

Yes, Replikanto is available in Portuguese. Replikanto has no language setting of its own: it follows NinjaTrader's language. When NinjaTrader is set to Portuguese, Replikanto is shown in Portuguese too.

Starting with Replikanto 1.7.0.0, the Portuguese translation covers the options in the Properties window, the tooltips, the dialogs, the submit credits messages and the Terms of Use.

How to switch NinjaTrader and Replikanto to Portuguese

1. In the NinjaTrader Control Center, open Tools > Options.
2. In the General section, set Language to Portuguese.
3. Confirm with OK.
4. Restart NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader tells you the language change only takes effect after a restart.

To go back to English, use the same setting and choose English, then restart NinjaTrader. In a NinjaTrader that is already in Portuguese, the same path reads Ferramentas > Definições, section Geral, setting Idioma, option Inglês.

• The Windows language makes no difference. Only NinjaTrader's language setting counts.
• NinjaTrader offers a single Portuguese option (technically named pt-PT). There is no separate "Portuguese (Brazil)" option. The NinjaTrader and Replikanto texts shown under that option are written in Brazilian Portuguese.
• You do not need to reinstall Replikanto to change the language.

Which Replikanto version you need

Use Replikanto 1.7.0.0 or later. In earlier versions only part of the window was translated: the Follower Guard options, the submit credits messages, most menu items, the Flatten All button and the Terms of Use text were shown in English even with NinjaTrader in Portuguese. If you are on an older version, download the latest Replikanto from your FlowBots downloads page and install it.

If Replikanto is still in English

1. Check that NinjaTrader itself is in Portuguese (the Control Center menus read Ferramentas, Conexões and so on) and that you restarted NinjaTrader after changing the language.
2. Check that you are running Replikanto 1.7.0.0 or later.
3. Check how Replikanto was installed. Importing the .zip through Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On... installs the Portuguese files automatically. The Replikanto 1.7.0.0 package contains Replikanto.dll plus a pt-PT folder with the Portuguese resource files (Replikanto.resources.dll and FlowBotsLibrary.resources.dll). If you install by copying files by hand into Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom, copy the pt-PT folder too, so that it ends up as Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\pt-PT. Without that folder Replikanto opens in English. Restart NinjaTrader afterwards.

What stays in English on purpose

Feature names are kept in English in both languages, so they match the Knowledge Center, videos and support replies:

• Compliance Mode
• Ratio, PnL, Replikanto ID and Machine ID

Only the names stay in English. The options and explanations around them are in Portuguese. For example, the Market Only column keeps its name, and the Follower Guard group in the Properties window keeps its name, but every option inside that group is in Portuguese, such as Zerar o seguidor se ele ficar fora de sincronia (Flatten the follower if it becomes out of sync).

What is still in English in Replikanto 1.7.0.0

• The right-click menu items of the grids: Show account numbers, Import..., Export..., Columns and Hide.
• All Replikanto messages in the NinjaTrader Log tab. They are written for diagnostics and support.
• The window caption of the Compliance Mode edition ("Replikanto by FlowBots - Compliance Mode - " followed by the version).
