NinjaTrader has released NinjaTrader 8.1.8, a minor update to the platform. You can read the official release notes here: NinjaTrader 8.1.8 Release Notes.
Replikanto is compatible with NinjaTrader 8.1.8. If you are running Replikanto 1.6.1.7 (built for NinjaTrader 8.1.7+), it works on NinjaTrader 8.1.8 with no reinstall and no reconfiguration required. We have tested and confirmed this.
Because 8.1.8 is within the range supported by your current Replikanto build, updating NinjaTrader will not affect Replikanto — it keeps running automatically after you update.
Known issue: multi-account position close is slow on 8.1.7 through 8.1.8.2
NinjaTrader 8.1.7 and the entire 8.1.8 line (8.1.8.0, 8.1.8.1 and 8.1.8.2) have a platform-level delay when you close positions on several accounts at once, using either Flatten All or Close. The closing orders are still sent in milliseconds, but NinjaTrader can take roughly 3.5 to 5.8 seconds to show every account as flat, updating one account at a time instead of all together. On NinjaTrader 8.1.6 the same close showed all accounts flat in about a quarter of a second.
Your positions are closed. The broker receives and fills the closing orders right away — it is only NinjaTrader's position display that lags behind, and it lags in NinjaTrader's own position windows as well, not just in Replikanto. Because the delay happens inside NinjaTrader's own account and event processing, there is nothing Replikanto can do to speed it up. NinjaTrader 8.1.8.2, the most recent release, still shows the same delay, so updating to the newest build does not resolve it and there is no fixed version to move to yet. We have reported it to NinjaTrader with reproducible timing traces and will update this article when a fixed build is released.
