Is Replikanto compatible with NinjaTrader 8.1.8?

This article answers whether Replikanto works on NinjaTrader 8.1.8 and whether you need to reinstall it after updating. Update: starting with Replikanto 1.7.0.0, one Replikanto build runs on every NinjaTrader 8 version, including 8.1.8, so a NinjaTrader update no longer requires a matching Replikanto build or a reinstall.

NinjaTrader has released NinjaTrader 8.1.8, a minor update to the platform. You can read the official release notes here: NinjaTrader 8.1.8 Release Notes.

Replikanto is compatible with NinjaTrader 8.1.8. Replikanto 1.7.0.0 and later work on NinjaTrader 8.1.8 as on every other NinjaTrader 8 version. If you are still running Replikanto 1.6.1.7 (built for NinjaTrader 8.1.7+), it also works on NinjaTrader 8.1.8 with no reinstall and no reconfiguration required. We have tested and confirmed this.

Updating NinjaTrader to 8.1.8 therefore does not affect Replikanto — it keeps running automatically after you update. If you are on Replikanto 1.6.1.7 or earlier, we recommend updating to Replikanto 1.7.0.0, so that future NinjaTrader updates never require a different Replikanto build.

Known issue: slower order execution on multiple Sim/Paper Trading accounts on 8.1.7+

Closing positions on several simulation (Sim) or Paper Trading accounts at once, using either Flatten All or Close, can take noticeably longer to actually fill on NinjaTrader 8.1.7 and later. Live and non-Paper-Trading demo broker accounts are not affected.

This is caused by the Tools > Options > Trading > Enforce partial fills option, not by Replikanto or by a NinjaTrader defect - it's expected behavior of that setting when several Sim/Paper Trading accounts close the same instrument at the same time. Uncheck it to speed up execution.
