Yes. You can trade from TradingView and have Replikanto copy those trades into two Apex evaluation accounts. This article explains how that setup actually works, what you need for it, and what to watch out for.
How the setup really works
TradingView is not itself a lead account. TradingView is the order-entry front end for a Tradovate account, and that Tradovate account is connected to NinjaTrader Desktop. Replikanto runs as an add-on inside NinjaTrader, sees that Tradovate account as the lead account, and copies its fills to your follower accounts — in this case your two Apex evaluation accounts.
Replikanto can copy between any accounts connected in NinjaTrader, so any NinjaTrader Desktop connection (Rithmic, Tradovate, and so on) can serve as the lead account.
Requirements
- A Windows PC. NinjaTrader and Replikanto are Windows applications. On a Mac you need a virtual machine or emulator.
- Tradovate connected to NinjaTrader. Replikanto works through NinjaTrader, not directly with Tradovate or TradingView.
- Replikanto installed and running inside NinjaTrader.
- Broker and prop firm compatibility. Confirm that each account you want to connect is supported by NinjaTrader.
- NinjaTrader Multi-Provider Mode, if your lead and follower accounts use different connection providers.
Connecting your two Apex evaluation accounts
Connecting to more than one provider at a time — for example a Tradovate lead account and Rithmic-based evaluation accounts — requires the Multi-Provider setting in NinjaTrader Desktop 8.1 or later. Multi-Provider is a free platform option; the paid Multiple Broker add-on is not required for connecting multiple NinjaTrader-supported accounts.
- In the NinjaTrader Control Center, open Tools > Options.
- Under General, tick Multi-provider and click OK.
- Restart NinjaTrader so the change takes full effect.
- After the restart, a configure button appears at the bottom of the Control Center > Connections menu. Use it to create a connection profile for each account.
- Connect all three accounts: your Tradovate lead account and both Apex evaluation accounts.
Setting up the copying
- Open Replikanto inside NinjaTrader.
- Set your Tradovate account — the one you trade from TradingView — as the lead account.
- Add both Apex evaluation accounts as follower accounts.
- Place an order in TradingView. NinjaTrader captures it, and Replikanto copies it to both followers.
Important considerations
OCO orders
Replikanto 1.5 and later support OCO (One Cancels the Other) orders placed via TradingView. You do not need the ATM Copy feature when you trade from outside NinjaTrader.
Order discrepancies
Market volatility and latency can produce small differences between the lead account's fill price and the followers'.
Multiple instruments
To copy more than one symbol, open a separate Replikanto window or tab for each symbol.
Monitoring
When you trade the lead account from external software such as TradingView, monitor the follower accounts in NinjaTrader Desktop while you trade.
Prop firm rules
Copying between two evaluation accounts is a platform capability, not a permission. Confirm with Apex that running and copying between two evaluation accounts is allowed under your current plan.
Troubleshooting
- Trades are not copying: confirm Replikanto is running in NinjaTrader, the Tradovate account is set as lead, and both Apex accounts are configured as followers.
- An account is missing from Replikanto: it is not connected in NinjaTrader. Check the Connections menu, and check Multi-Provider is enabled if the accounts use different providers.
- The configure button is missing: restart NinjaTrader — Multi-Provider only takes full effect after a restart.
