This article explains what the Block copying of submitted trades option in Replikanto does, who enables it, and when it is useful.
What this feature does
- It lets a remote leader stop remote followers from forwarding the leader's trades on to third parties.
- When the leader enables it, follower accounts are restricted from further copying (re-copying) those trades to other accounts.
- It applies to the Remote Copy feature, where trades travel between different machines over a local network or the internet.
- It ensures that trades originating from a leader account are not propagated downstream by followers to other parties.
Who turns it on
The leader must enable this feature. A follower cannot enable it for themselves, and if the leader leaves it off, followers are able to keep re-sending the trades to other accounts.
When to use it
Use it when you are running Replikanto in a remote setup and want to keep control over how far your trades are distributed — that is, when you want your signal to reach your own followers and stop there, rather than being redistributed to accounts you did not authorize.
