To test if Replikanto is copying trades to followers, you can place a limit order at a distance from the bid/ask market price so that it does not get filled on the accounts. Then, check the NinjaTrader Orders tab to determine how many orders are being copied to each follower. If there are two or more orders for the same follower account, it indicates that another Replikanto window or tab is making the copies.
Here are some additional details to consider when testing Replikanto:
- Check for duplicate windows or tabs: Ensure that there isn't another Replikanto window or tab open on the same instrument on both the leader and follower computers. Minimized windows can be found in the Windows taskbar or system tray by hovering the mouse over the NinjaTrader icon.
- Verify no duplicate workspaces: Check if another workspace is open with Replikanto running. If duplicate windows are present, close them and retry the test.
Once the test order has been cancelled, a final check should be made in the Orders tab to ensure that all orders have been cancelled.
This way you can be sure that Replikanto will copy the trades to the follower accounts with the correct amounts before you start your day.
