Replikanto doesn't connect to your broker directly — it relies on NinjaTrader's own broker connections. This article explains how that relationship works, what to do if you have multiple accounts with the same broker, and how to connect more than one broker to a single NinjaTrader instance.

How account connections work
Accounts are not connected to Replikanto directly — they're connected through NinjaTrader. If an account is connected in NinjaTrader, it will show up in Replikanto automatically. Replikanto works with every account that's connected to NinjaTrader, so getting an account visible in Replikanto is really a matter of getting it connected in NinjaTrader first.
Multiple accounts with the same broker
Some providers, like CQG and Rithmic, only allow one connection at a time per NinjaTrader instance. If you have multiple accounts with the same provider, you have two options:
Consolidate your credentials
Contact your broker and ask them to consolidate your accounts under a single set of login credentials. Once consolidated, all of the accounts will appear under one connection in both NinjaTrader and Replikanto.
Use remote copy across separate machines
If your broker can't merge the credentials, you can use Replikanto's remote copy feature to run each account on a separate machine or VPS and copy trades between them over the internet. Connecting more than one broker to the same NinjaTrader
To connect more than one broker to the same NinjaTrader instance, you'll need to turn on NinjaTrader's Multi-Provider Mode. Once every account is connected in NinjaTrader, Replikanto can copy trades between all of them.
In NinjaTrader, a connection stores the username, password, and other settings needed to reach a broker or data feed. Active connections show a green indicator in the Control Center's Connections menu. To add one, open the Connections window, select the provider, enter its credentials and settings, then confirm the configuration. Test each connection before enabling it to launch automatically at startup — invalid saved credentials can prevent NinjaTrader from starting. Note that saved connections are stored locally, so anyone who logs into that machine can access them.
