It is not possible to connect two or more Rithmic broker connections to NinjaTrader at the same time due to a restriction in the Rithmic API, which only allows one connection per machine.
Note that the restriction is at the broker connection level, not the individual account level — a single Rithmic broker connection can have up to 20 accounts under it, and all of those accounts will appear in Replikanto automatically once connected to NinjaTrader.
However, the Replikanto trade copier has a remote copy feature that can be used to submit trades from one machine to another, using either a local network or the internet.
- Local Network: This is the fastest method and is free to use, assuming each machine has a Replikanto license.
- Internet: This method uses servers located around the world, and therefore requires credits to function.
To connect multiple accounts, they need to be connected to NinjaTrader, not directly to Replikanto. Once connected to NinjaTrader, Replikanto will display all of them. You may need to turn the NinjaTrader Multi-Provider Mode on to connect more than one broker to the same NinjaTrader. You can find instructions on how to enable Multi-Provider mode in the NinjaTrader documentation.
Replikanto uses all the accounts connected to Ninjatrader to be used in the copies, so a very common question that the community has is how do I connect the accounts of Prop Firm A, B or C to Replikanto, and the answer is quite simple, the accounts are not connected to Replikanto but to Ninjatrader, when connected to Ninjatrader, Replikanto will show all of them.
Using Replikanto with other trade copiers: You can have both Replikanto and other third-party trade copiers (such as Copy Trader) installed on the same NinjaTrader. However, you should only run one trade copier at a time to avoid conflicts or duplicate orders. If you want to use another copier for certain tasks, make sure to disable Replikanto first, and vice versa.
Here are some 3rd party videos showing the local network copy Replikanto feature between 2 computers:
