Instructions to update the FlowBots add-ons (Replikanto, ScalperTicket, AveragePrice, ...) on the NinjaTrader

Here are the instructions to update or upgrade (also install) the FlowBots products or add-ons on NinjaTrader. New releases occur as new features are introduced, bugs fixed, or improvements made. When this happens, NinjaTrader will inform you via a notification window, or customers will be emailed with all the details of the FlowBots product update (software, add-on, ...).

Replikanto 1.7.0.0 and newer: one-click update

Starting with Replikanto 1.7.0.0, when a new version is available for your license, the notification window (FlowBots Product Update Notification) has an Update now button. No download or import is needed:

1. Click Update now. Replikanto downloads the new version, checks that FlowBots signed it and installs it.
2. Wait for the message Version X of "Replikanto" is ready. Restart NinjaTrader to finish the update.
3. Click Close NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader asks for its usual exit confirmation.
4. Open NinjaTrader again (it does not reopen by itself) and check the new version in the Replikanto window title.

Your workspace, follower accounts and settings are kept. Details and troubleshooting are in Does Replikanto update automatically or does the user need to do something to update it?

The manual steps below still apply to ScalperTicket, AveragePrice and AveragePriceIndicator, to Replikanto 1.6.1.7 or older (including the one-time move from 1.6.1.7 or older to 1.7.0.0), and as a fallback if the Update now button is not shown or the automatic update fails.

Downloading the Latest Version

To download the latest products with a valid license, access the following link. Once logged in, you will be able to download the installation file. The NinjaTrader installation files are Zip files.

Supported Products

You can use these update steps for the following FlowBots products:

• Replikanto (also known as trade copier, copier, replicator, ...)
• ScalperTicket (Order ticket)
• AveragePrice (Average price)
• AveragePriceIndicator (Average price indicator)

Installation Steps

Open NinjaTrader and follow these steps in the Control Center window:

1. Select Tools
2. Select Import
3. Select NinjaScript Add-On...
4. Select the .zip file you recently downloaded
5. Accept all confirmation prompts that appear
6. Restart NinjaTrader to complete the installation

Note: Always restart NinjaTrader after installing an update to ensure you are running the most recent code. During the update process, click Yes even if NinjaTrader informs you that a newer version is already installed.
