When using Tradovate or TradingView to trade on your leader account, you may notice that TP (take profit) and SL (stop loss) exit OCO (One Cancels Other) orders are not immediately copied to your follower accounts.
Why Exit Orders Aren't Copied Immediately
These exit OCO orders will be copied to the followers as soon as the leader entry order is filled by the market. Until then, it is not possible to copy them because these exit orders are in a Suspended state, meaning they are not yet active. As soon as the entry order is filled by the market, the exit orders change state and can be copied to the followers.
Market Copy Behavior
When using the Market Copy feature, Replikanto handles exit orders differently:
- TP and SL exit orders are not copied while they remain active (pending)
- Only when these exit orders are filled by the market (executed) will they be copied to the followers as market orders
This behavior ensures that your followers mirror your actual executed trades rather than pending orders that may change or be cancelled.
